I’m a professionally qualified and accredited therapist, with nearly 30 years experience in the NHS, private practice and university sector.

As a therapist I’m interested in making sense of your difficulties, and helping you to find meaning and solutions to problems. I believe the quality of the therapeutic relationship is vital to help you feel heard and understood, and to enable you to overcome your difficulties.

My approach is integrative with a strong psychodynamic base, and I draw on over 25 years experience of offering cognitive behavioural therapy and other approaches.

I am a BACP Senior Accredited Counsellor/Psychotherapist, and I’ve had a private practice since 1993, and have worked for 11 years in the NHS. I also have 16 years experience managing a large mental health service in the university sector at LSE.

First steps

You may like to arrange a free initial 15 minute conversation on the phone or zoom before starting therapy. Please get in touch if you would like to arrange this.

You may not be sure exactly what you want or need in therapy. I see a first meeting as a chance to think together about your difficulties, and work out what kind of help will be most helpful for you.
